Type the name and print, step by step
Our PDFs have boxes where you type your child's name before printing. Here's how to do it on your device. It only takes two minutes.
On iPhone or iPad
- 1Tap the download link, then the Share button and “Save to Files”.
- 2Open the Files app and tap the PDF.
- 3Tap a “Name” box: the keyboard appears, type the name.
- 4Tap Share, then “Print” (AirPrint printer), or email it to yourself to print from a computer.
If the box doesn't respond, open the PDF with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app.
On Android
- 1Download the PDF, then open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader (free on the Play Store) or Google Drive.
- 2Tap a “Name” box and type the name.
- 3Menu (three dots), then “Print”. Most recent printers show up right away.
Some phones' basic preview can't type in PDFs: Adobe Acrobat Reader solves it.
On a computer (easiest)
- 1Download the PDF and open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader, or right in Chrome, Edge or Firefox. On a Mac, Preview works too.
- 2Click a “Name” box and type the name. For the Quick Decor Kit tags, type it once: all 12 fill in.
- 3File, then Print.
Printing well
- 1Choose “Actual size” or “100%”, never “Fit to page”.
- 2Black and white is enough for the inside pages; the color cover is optional.
- 3First time? Print our test page first: its line should measure exactly 10 cm (about 4 inches).
- 4No printer? Send the PDF to a print shop or an online printing service: they are ordinary files.
